Workshops
During the afternoon session you have the chance to deeply explore specific issues of their journey.
NPS and the Toyota Way – Hertz is implementing the Toyota Way and has set the Net Promoter Score as a Key Performance Indicator for customer satisfaction. The workshop highlights the benefits of this approach for setting the pace of change among the workforce and you’ll learn how to do this, too.
Becoming a demand driven mixed model manufacturer – Charmilles applies the Toyota Way to become a demand driven organization where Engineering to Order is the rule. In this workshop the basic principles of the development of a mixed-model flow line will be explained and you will have the opportunity to discuss directly with people working in an Engineer to Order environment. Learn with them how they created a demand driven Mixed-Model environment based on the Toyota Way principles!
Developing Your Way – Schneider -just as some other great companies- has learned from Toyota the value of establishing its own production system: It created the Schneider Production System which is working great for them. During this workshop the basic principles of the production system (SPS)will be explained. You have the opportunity to discuss directly with industry leaders in manufacturing and learn from them how they are creating their production systems based on the Toyota Way.
Lean introduction workshops – For those who are not yet that familiar with the meaning of lean and the Toyota Way, we will be offering general introductory workshops. During these workshops we will be simulating traditional production and service processes and compare these to a lean process. You’ll learn lean by doing it, just as it is meant to be. Experimenting lean will allow you to start understanding the philosophy and basic principles, as well as some of the tools to be used.
